Reader's Guide:
Last week, our daily Bible reading ended with the Israelites’ great sin at the foot of Mount Sinai — their worship of an idol. This week, with that in the past, we will see some things being rebuilt between them and God.
Monday and Tuesday, we’ll see a new place to meet with God, new tablets notating God’s law, and a renewed covenant between the people and God. For the rest of the week, we’ll see the Tabernacle—the dwelling place of God among his people—being constructed. Even though these details can be difficult to track, do your best to understand 1) their significance, and 2) their beauty!
